Manage invoices
Open Invoices to review your issued invoices, check payment status, and take action on unpaid bills.
Find and inspect an invoice#
Use Filter by to choose All Status, Issued, Paid, or Canceled. Select an invoice to open its details.
The details include the invoice number, amount, customer, issue date, due date, and payment or cancellation date when applicable. Expand On-chain Details for wallet addresses, the token ID, metadata reference, and sync information.
The human-readable invoice number and the on-chain token ID are different identifiers. Use the complete link generated by Share Invoice rather than building a payment URL from the displayed invoice number.
Understand status#
| Status | Available next step |
|---|---|
| Issued | Share, request payment, or cancel. |
| Paid | Keep the record and review its payment. It cannot be canceled or paid again. |
| Canceled | Keep the record or issue a new invoice. It cannot be reopened or paid. |
“Overdue” is an informational indication that an unpaid invoice's due date has passed. It is not an additional on-chain status and does not automatically cancel the invoice.
Cancel an unpaid invoice#
- Open the invoice and confirm that it is Issued.
- Select Cancel Invoice and confirm the question.
- Complete any signing prompts.
- Wait for confirmation. Cancellation pending... means the cancellation has been submitted, not that it has completed.
If payment confirms first, the invoice is Paid and cannot be canceled. Cancellation does not refund a payment or remove the record from the chain.
Correct a mistake#
Issued amounts, due dates, and metadata are not editable in the dashboard. For an unpaid invoice, cancel it and issue a replacement with the correct information. Send the new link and tell the customer which invoice it replaces.
For a paid invoice, retain the payment record and resolve any adjustment separately with the customer. The current dashboard does not provide a refund or credit-note workflow.
Share, download, and reconcile#
Share Invoice manages payment links and access tokens. Download PDF downloads the invoice document. Email Delivery shows email outcomes separately from the invoice's payment status.
Use Share invoices for delivery steps and Export data for payment history and accounting downloads. If a recent transaction is not reflected yet, check the details and transaction result before repeating it; list data can lag behind the chain.
